Group Interview Bootcamp (17 Mar 2026)

For many students, the group interview is the most daunting part of a scholarship or university admissions process. You are placed in a room with other strong candidates, given an unfamiliar scenario, and expected to think clearly, speak confidently, and collaborate under time pressure. Yet, this is also the part of the process that is rarely practised properly.

That is why I am running a focused Group Interview Bootcamp on 17 March 2026, 9.00am–1.00pm, at Higher Nucleus Learning Studio (Bishan campus). Designed for high‑stakes scholarship and tertiary admissions, this session will help students understand what interviewers are really looking for, and give them a safe environment to practise and improve.

In a small group of 5–10 participants, we will cover the essentials for both group panel and case interview formats. Participants will learn how to structure their responses, balance assertiveness with teamwork, and demonstrate clarity of thought even when they are put on the spot. There will be live practice rounds, debriefs, and concrete tips on how to avoid common pitfalls that cause strong candidates to underperform.

As Founder of Ryse Education, and an ex‑Singapore university admissions and scholarship interview panel member, I have seen first-hand how students are evaluated in these settings. This bootcamp distils those insights into practical strategies that students can immediately apply. To maximise learning, participants will also complete a short pre‑workshop assignment so they come in prepared and ready to engage.

The bootcamp is suitable for JC/IB students and graduates, polytechnic students and graduates, Secondary 3–4 students, and NSFs who are aiming for DSA, EAE, scholarships, or competitive university programmes. The fee is S$320 per participant (nett), and 1‑1 coaching is also available for those who prefer more personalised support.
